| Information | I was born in a small town in western Hungary in 1976 but I spent many years of my childhood in Germany. I was a mischievous child and I tried almost everything I was not allowed to. I often involved my two sisters in the pranks. My mother had a hard time after the divorce, but she tried her best to keep problems away from us. However, like most children, I enjoyed being out in the nature, climbing trees and watching animals. I was amazed by the enthralling diversity of life I found just a few steps away from our door. Sometimes, I collected the little creeping, flying and swimming creatures that crossed my way and brought them home to put under my microscope or to observe them in my aquariums. I made notes and drew pictures of what I saw under the loupe. I dreamt about becoming a biologist one day ...
I got my first computer at the age of 14 and quickly developed a keen interest in programming. Very soon, I could make things happen on the computer that other people could not. I was fascinated by the possibility to create useful pieces of software out of nothing. It didn’t take long until I realized that this is what I want to do in life.
Art has played a significant role in my life since an early age, but I didn’t discover photography as a tool of expression until a few years ago. And it didn't happen in an instant, but over the course of several years. It has been a long process of learning and experimenting and it will probably never end as long as I live.
